Tessa Grove (Females, aged 19 to 24)

Tessa is our protagonist, once a typical mean girl, but now on her way to remove herself from the popular circles she once moved in, given her newfound maturity. Tessa has a desire to see the good in people that may actually be doing her more harm than good. The events of the plot require quiet Tess to stand up on her own two feet and take matters into her own hands for once. But can she stand up to those she loves most? Corinne Butler (Females, aged 19 to 24)

Corinne is the polar opposite of her 'best friend' Tessa. She's loud, sassy, confident and desperate for approval from others. Corinne is out on a one woman mission to see justice served, as years of being second best has slowly begun to drive her off the rails. She's unable to let go of the past and move on, which is perhaps her biggest weakness. More information is available on Corinne in the accompanying audition pack.

James Wayde (Males, aged 19 to 24)

Quiet and calm, at least that's how everyone else sees James. He's always there as a shoulder to lean on for Tessa, but deep down he secretly wants more. What James lacks most is courage, and he's spent years sitting back and letting people walk over him. Tonight is the night for James to make a stand and voice his opinions, but how far will he go to get what he wants, and will he let others stop him getting his way? Callum Bridges (Males, aged 19 to 24)

Callum is your typical lads’ lad. A golden boy at home but has a notorious reputation for being a bit of a player on nights out, and it’s more often than not that he brings a girl home with him. He's had his eye on Tessa for sometime, and when Corinne offers to set him up with her it's a dream come true, but will he blow his chance, and how genuine are his intentions? Matt Stringer (Males, aged 19 to 24)

Corinne's boyfriend Matt is a popular lad’s lad. He’s a friendly bloke, who tries to be nice to everyone. Though there’s always been some hostility between him and James, as he assumes he fancies both Tessa and Corinne, and doesn't like the fact they live together. Matt and Callum are close friends, and are therefore eager to go along with Corinne's plan to set him up with Tessa. Matt goes along with everything Corinne says, for fear of loosing her.
