WHO ARE M6 PRODUCTIONS?
Founded in 2019 by Morgen Hand, M6 Productions is a North West based production company with a diverse team from across the UK. We aim to showcase new talent and champion different voices in the content we create.
We set up M6 Productions following a desire to make more of the content we wanted to see out there. Also to give young professionals starting out in the industry a chance to gain experience doing something they love, without the pressure that a university environment might bring. It will give us a chance to express our voices and work with a diverse crew to make contacts that will last a lifetime.
MEET THE TEAM
MORGEN HAND
Founder & Executive Producer
When she’s not busy boasting about how Northern she is or mothering people on set, Morgen is busy writing away. With a past in acting, Morgen loves a hands on directing approach, and thoroughly enjoys working with actors to get the best out of her scripts.
Morgen is a keen scriptwriter and is eager to see some of her creations come to life with the help of her team, as well as overseeing the creative ideas our crew come up with!
MATTHEW JAMES TAYLOR
Director & Head of Drama
Matthew has a keen interest in theatre and media having shadowed crew on The Classic Thriller Theatre Company’s A Judgement in Stone and later joining the Narthen Productions team and working on the award winning How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse.
Currently he is continuing to work at Narthen with their next Greater Manchester Fringe entry: Kasterborous in Bolton.
JORDAN SHUCK
Producer & Editor
His recent credits include The Voice Kids, The Circle for Channel 4 and Netflix, Britain’s Got Talent, BBC Songs of Praise and The Big Questions. Jordan has a volume of acting experience behind him, as as Supporting Artist and as a NODA nominated actor for his role as Captain Hook in Peter Pan at Blackpool Grand.
He spent time as a Cast Member at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Jordan is a keen producer, editor and production manager.
WILL VELVICK
Director of Photography
Will has had 6 years of experience working within and studying the media industry. He has worked with media specific companies such as Nickelodeon Studios, Chocolate Films, Starship Technologies, Shock Radio and Quays TV.
He was voted onto the universities Snowsports Committee by the members, which has given him experience in managing social media channels such as their Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube pages.
